Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know where we're at, given the gap between updates. Jeremy has turned in the final two chapters of Book II—for the Primordial Powers and the Fae—and the only reason they're not laid out yet is that I'm in the last two weeks of the semester at my day job as a teacher, so I've been up to my neck in work. I apologize for the delay, and should be able to have those chapters in place and uploaded by this coming Friday.

Hail Stonetoppers!

Book II: The Wider World and Other Wonders has been updated with Appendix B: Artifact Creation, which lays out a detailed procedure for GMs to develop unique magic items for their campaign. This leaves only to entries unfinished in Book II—for the Fae and the primordial powers—which Jeremy and I will be tackling in the next couple of weeks.

Also in this update are fresh illustrations from Lucie for the Pale Hunter, Titan Bones, and the Ruined Tower. The development of the opening illustration for the Ruined Tower was particularly fun for those of us on the art side, starting with Lucie's initial sketch, revised several times by me as I went back and forth with Jeremy to clarify his vision, and then back to Lucie for the final. Here's how that evolution looked:

Look for the Fae and primordial powers entries soon, and then Jeremy will be sewing up the remaining chapters of Book I while I finalize the index for Book II.

Hail Stonetoppers!

Book II: The Wider World and Other Wonders has been updated with three new entries. Download the updated Book II PDF here.

• The Pale Hunter is a mysterious entity who stalks all manner of prey through the shadowed avenues of the Great Wood, favoring the undead over others. Perhaps he will deign to allow the PCs to join his party... though just as easily they might find themselves quarry for his ghostly hounds.
• Venture deep enough into the ancient passages that give Gordin's Delve its name, and you'll discover that the Maker-hewn tunnels and rough-cut mine shafts eventually give way to natural caverns and lava tubes that run on for miles. This is the Labyrinth, an endless tangle of tunnels and Forge Lord ruins that twists underneath the Huffel Peaks and beyond. Beware the thraulgwyn, corrupted descendants of the Barrow Builders, and resist the dark draw of the Utterwell, alleged prison of the Things Below, and you might one day reemerge. Perhaps intact... but not whole.
• Lastly, Appendix A: Ages of the World clarifies the setting timeline, giving GM's a succinct summary of the major events leading up to the Current Age.

Next time, along with more content, we'll have a bunch of new art from Lucie to show off.
